AQA Economics Macro Diagram Checklist

(1)
Students reflect on their confidence/ability to draw the Macro diagrams needed for the new AQA A-Level Economics specification. I would get my students in groups to come up with as many diagrams as possible themselves, and then issue them this afterwards as an aid memoire.

AQA Economics Memory Challenges

(0)
A bundle of 32 memory challenges covering the AQA Economics specification. Most of them involve 10 key terms being on the board for 30 secs and then students have to remember as many key terms as they can and define them. A few involve diagram sketching or understanding images relating to behavioural economics, so students get 1 minute and then students have to remember as many key terms/ draw the diagrams as they can.

AQA Econ:25 mark essay on Trade vs. Aid

(0)
A 25 mark exemplar essay for the AQA Economics syllabus for Year 2, Macroeconomics. Students would not be expected to write this much of course, but I tried to cover a range of ideas, so that they can steal the bits they can relate to the most based on their own understanding, and so they can see lots of different points of analysis in terms of breadth of ideas.

One of the AfL sheets our department use. It can be completed by students and/or staff. Focuses on what went well, what could be developed further, and then deciding upon agreed targets based on this. Students and staff also circle perceived effort and presentation by circling boxes at the top.
